Tax Assembler/Administrative Assistant

An ideal candidate should enjoy working in a family-like atmosphere and have great communication skills. You will be joining a team that is established and enjoys a high-performance culture. Joining our team, you would be responsible for a variety of duties that include but are not limited to the following:

  • Scanning documents, assembling, and processing tax returns
  • Answering and redirecting phone calls
  • Monitoring general e-mail inbox and respond to clients in a timely manner
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Greet and guide visitors
  • Retrieving the mail, sorting, and dispersing
  • Prepare documents to be shipped
  • Tend to word processing, filing, scanning, and faxing duties
  • Manage the firm's A/P, A/R, WIP and collections

Ideal candidates should be proficient in the following areas:

  • Solid understanding of Personal and Business Tax Returns
  • Must have adept computer skills and be proficient in all areas of Microsoft Suite and Google Documents
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Foundational knowledge to perform data entry in a variety of customer database systems and tax software
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred as well as a minimum of three years of experience in a professional services office environment

The normal business hours are 7:00 - 4:00 with potential overtime during tax season. Salary is DOE.
